HUDCO provides financing for housing projects such as urban and rural housing, cooperative housing, communal toilets, slum improvement, staff housing, repairs and renewals, private sector projects, land acquisition, and housing programs. They also provide financing for housing and infrastructure projects to state governments, governmental organizations, and private corporations.
Loans are made available to implementing agencies, which include state government authorities, cooperative societies, corporate employers, and community sectors, as well as building technology and rent-to-own initiatives. It also finances infrastructure projects in urban areas, such as water supply, sewerage, drainage, solid waste management, roads and transportation, and electricity; and social infrastructure components, such as play/primary schools, working women’s hostels, health centers, play grounds, police stations, courts, jails, crematoriums, and so on. Furthermore, the organization provides consultancy services such as URP services, environmental engineering, government program consultancy, and disaster mitigation services. It also offers house loans to individuals.
