The Supreme Court has ordered SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) to present its report on Adani-Hindenburg Case on August 14, 2023.
Hindenburg, The US Short Seller, had published a report on Adani and accused the company of Money Laundering and Falsifying Financial Documents.
Adani Refused These Accusations.
SEBI was then appointed to research the case.
Supreme Court also appointed a 6-member expert panel to research the case.
Deloitte Auditor
Adani Ports Auditor Deloitte also terminated their contract and resigned their auditor role to APSEZ ( Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited ).
Deloitte resigned as Auditor on August 12, 2023.
The Auditing company wanted to conduct a more comprehensive audit of the entire Adani Enterprise And All Its Various Groups.
APSEZ declined this proposal, and they amicably decided to end their contract.
